德国格瑞夫钢桶厂见证了可持续发展的成功

格瑞夫位于德国科隆的钢桶厂最近在“共同为可持续发展”（TFS）的审计中获得了98%的分数。

TFS成立于2011年，是由化工企业联合发起的可持续供应链倡议。它制定并实施了一项全球计划，以评估、审计和改善化学工业供应链的可持续性方案。

由第三方检查员进行的现场检查，根据一套确定的标准，包括管理、键康和安全、环境、质量、能源管理和社会责任，评估了可持续性绩效。

格瑞夫SHEQ经理Michael Kolz说：“科隆的成功证明了其员工的技能和奉献精神。此次审计支持了我们在格瑞夫对道德和可持续商业实践的承诺。它让客户放心，格瑞夫有一个健全的安全、健康、环境和质量管理 （SHEQ）体系管理中心。”
保持对可持续性的认真态度，是格瑞夫的指导原则之一。2018年，格瑞夫被EcoVadis授予可持续发展绩效最高认可度。EcoVadis是一家独立评级机构，专门评估企业社会责任（CSR），包括供应商的可持续发展和绩效监测。这一成就使格瑞夫在EcoVadis评价的所有公司中名列前5%。

德国格瑞夫科隆公司位于威斯特法伦北部，每年生产约100万只钢桶，包括闭口桶、开口桶、镀锌桶和钢塑复合桶。它服务于石化、化工、香料和香精、油漆和涂料、制药和食品等行业。

Greif Steel Drum Plant in Germany Sees Sustainability Success

Greif's steel drum plant in Cologne, Germany recently achieved a 98 percent in the Together for Sustainability (TfS) audit. TfS is a joint initiative of chemical companies for sustainable supply chains, founded in 2011. It has developed and implemented a global program to assess, audit and improve sustainability practices within the supply chains of the chemical industry.

The on-site examination, carried out by third-party inspector, assessed sustainability performance against a defined set of criteria that included management, health and safety, environment, quality, energy management and social responsibility.

“Cologne’s success is testament to the skill and dedication of its workforce. The audit supports our commitment at Greif to ethical and sustainable business practices.  It offers customers reassurance that we have a robust Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management (SHEQ) structure in place,” said Michael Kolz, Greif SHEQ-manager EMEA-Central.

Remaining serious about sustainability is one of Greif’s guiding principles. In 2018 Greif was awarded Gold Recognition Level in sustainability performance by EcoVadis - an independent rating agency specializing in the evaluation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), including sustainable development and performance monitoring of suppliers. This achievement placed Greif among the top five percent of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis.

Located in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany Greif Cologne produces approximately one million steel drums a year including tight head, open head, zinc plated and combi drums. It serves the petrochemical, chemical, flavors and fragrances, paints and coatings, pharmaceutical and food industries.
