Is a brand new production machine, designed andmanufactured specifically for medium and large tinplate metal containerslike cans, pails and small drums.

The typical can size produced by this machineare those for General Line, but also some large food cans like forcheese, olives, etc. are suitable for this machine.

One of the main advantages of designing from Ato Z a new equipment is to be totally free to adopt the latest design andmaterials available, but also to implement a number of new ideas in order tosolve the common problems and operation difficulties typical of this kind ofmachines, and well known to the operators of these lines.

Once again, however, the main idea behind thisnew-born welding machine is

practical and simpleoperation

which means easy and fast changeover, topaccessibility thanks to a simple layout, easy adjustment of main parts likeroll former, Z-bar, welding rollers, calibration tools, and pushing shuttle,complete information inside the touch screen control panel with extensive useof symbols, graphics and clear instructions.

A few examples of the important new ideas putinto practice in the MARW – 60:

- roll former adjustment from one single point toguarantee perfect parallelism thus avoiding any possible “conical effect” onblanks

- sheet feeder with vacuum suction cupscomplete with a unique system to prevent wear due to friction of sheet tail

- transfer shuttle by “connecting-rod” design topush the rolled body, without belt or chain, thus avoiding lubrication need.Easy and quick to adjust according to change in body length.

- Welding pressure system very accurate andself-adjusting according to welding roller wear (diameter reduction) thanks topneumatic-mechanical concept

- Calibration tool (for each size), constructed asone block with the guide rollers and quick-connection for weld pressure.Supported on rails, the whole tool does not need any adjustment afterre-assembly on the machine.

- Mercury free welding rollers of the samesize (interchangeable) and double life time for lower welding electrode, withnew concept.
